My friend went and he said that the city's laid out in such a way that it looks confusing when stoned. He also said they put door handles on the wrong side of the doors to confuse you and stuff. Is it true?


Oh yeah this same friend used to have two televisions, one behind him and one in front of him. They were both broken. Back one didn't have picture and the front one didn't have sound so he used both. Used to scare the fuck out of his friends when they were stoned apparently!

Lol.The doorknobs might be on the other side because maybe that's the way they build doors over there oh well. Maybe he's just used to his life. They don't do it on purpose.

that telivision thing is awsome...now i actually wanna buy two old telivisions, break ones picture, and ones sound...just for that...

I used to do it like that. The sound on my 27 inch didn't work so I would turn the volume all the way up on the TV in the living room just so I could watch TV in my room

The television idea was great!

I don't think anywhere in the world has door handles on the wrong side of the door though, must be very hard to open the doors that way. So I'll go along with my friend and say its there to confuse you!

It is really easy to find your way around with a map. The canals serve as organizers which surround city center. There are tons of maps availiable there, they have a great tram system.
We just returned dec 2nd and this was our second trip there this year. In 2000 we did the cup and it was kewl. The cup was happening this year when we were there but we didnt do it. They charge way too much and the entertainment is minimal.
Amsterdam is awesome...I am ready to go again! :rasta:
