ok heres an easy way to roll a joint.
1. brake up your bud, no sticks, no seeds, don't powderize it but brake the bud down.
2. 1st time i would go with easywider 1 1/2 big papers. take out one paper, look at it, notice the shiny strip that is the top of the paper.
3. fold from the bottom alittle less then half way, so that shiny strip is hanging out at the top (facing you).
4. fold the corners in on both sides a making a little boat. that shiny strip still at the top.
5. put in the bud, spread it out in the little boat evenly.
6. place it on a flat surface. roll from the bottom up, when you get to the top, lick that strip, make sure it sticks tight.

ok so you got your J, but it's loose. take out a bill, fold it it half, put the J in the middle, pinch the bill close and roll the bill between your thumbs and forefingers. the J will tighen up.

bite off an end, spark and enjoy.

Questions about how to fucking smoke are not needed, please... anything else, of course you come here. It's what we are here for... to help. But there isn't to much to leearn about smoking your first time. You can be set up with a "smoking ettiquitte" guide and then you figure all the other stuff out yourself for the first time. It's not like anything bad can happen... I'm sick of seeing ooo how do I roll? You get papers and weed... and you try and wrap it up into a stick. It's not that fucking difficult to try yourself without asking for help. Asking how to make a bong or a pipe, that is completely different. Anything you do wrong, it can't be that fucking bad... so you learn from your mistakes insted of having someone from this site baby you.

I would recommend the exact opposite and encourage you to ask questions you have, especially when it comes to consuming shit without knowlege and experience, thats dangerous man.
This board is a unique environment in that we have such a diverse group of people of all ages, sexes, walks of life, experience,lifestyle .
So, young people are 'hanging out' with people their parents and grandparents age.
We get to have some priceless insight into the mentality of todays teens and have a chance to connect on a level not availlable in public, in person, in day to day life. Us folks with kids get an opportunity to hang out and talk candid with our kids friends, so to speak.
We get to look into your world, and at the same time you get to look into ours. We get to pass on our experience, what life has tought us and how we got our bumps and scars and our smiles.
We can only hope that when our kids are into the shit you guys are then we can have this same openness with them. If not, I know someone here will. Shit, when my youngest is of age of experimentation you younger guys could be the ones passing shit on to them.
I fuckin love it here for those reasons.
So ask on man. There are countless people with a wide array of answers based on their real experiences, good and bad.
