Some people I know refer to a "joint" as not literally a joint but enough weed for a joint. Perhaps that is what he meant?

well yeh so do most people i guess, but still.
id pay no more then £3 for a joints worth if i was desperate, but normally about £2..
id say buy an eigth, pay no more then £20-25 (i think standard american eigths are $50 but i dunno) and it should weigh 3.5 grams if u gots a scale anywhere

3.5 grams standard 1/8. cost about 25-30$ depending on situatuation, strain....ect. I'm sure he could have easly searched the forums for "how to roll a joint" i think it's there aswell. i'm just making nice conversation.
