Yet another for the old folks...Davy and Goliath

Anyone remember Davy and Goliath. It was a claymation kids show about Davy and his dog Goliath (I believe he was a Great Dane) produced by the Lutherans.
All about Davy and his trials and tribulations with the evils of sin. Oh, and the talking dog. Long ago and far away it was the closest thing to a cartoon that a kid could watch on Sunday morning when there were only 3 networks and if you were lucky, maybe 4 or 5 channels available.

I think Mad TV did a couple of spoofs of it.

Hehe, yeah man I loved that show. We watched it religeously.
Tv back then contained so many shows that promoted positive values in kids. Now its all about mindless entertainment. ( well not ALL of it. )

Hell yeah Mad TV spoofs were hillarious! I liked the one where Davie was a David Berkowidz (sp?) type character and Goliath was "sam" the dog who told him to kill people. heehee
