I think I almost overdosed on diphenhydramine

Well I took a lot of sleeping pills, to the tune of 1000 mg. I only weigh 135 too. I did it before my fiancee got home from work, and she says she saw the bottle and opened the bedroom door and I was just standing there facing the door, speaking gibberish. I remember seeing her face and it was all distorted and I said "What's wrong with your face?". I remember trying to stay awake but everything was fucked up, the walls were swirling and the music that was on was saying my name over and over again. I kept having weird hallucinations and freaking out, like I thought I saw my old man with huge red welts under his eyes, but he lives 3 hours away. My fiancee said I went into the bedroom again and shut the door, and she followed and I was just standing there in the middle of the room flailing around with no balance. I remember trying to walk around but it was like walking on a tight rope. The scary thing is I was listening to the Wall by Pink Floyd and I there'e a part on the album where you hear someone say "Time to go!" and then several knocks, I thought I saw a killer with a knife saying time to go, and the knocking was him banging his own head on the wall. Overall it was the scariest trip I ever had. I've done diphenyhydramine before, but not that much. I really wasn't thinking, I could have killed myself.

And that was stupid to take that much, you want to take as little as you can to get you fucked up, not as much as you can and die.

No it wasn't ambien, ambien doesn't have diphenhydramine.

actaully it does sound rather exciting. ive done 14 benadryls but it wasnt all that fun

That does sound a little like fun. It sounds like at the time it would be freaky, but I like to try and have nightmares because I feel like they're more exciting than ordinary dreams and are almost like watching a scary movie. Pretty intense I bet. :stoned:

It was scary because I couldn't differentiate what was real and what wasn't.

That's why I asked if it was ambien, I don't know or care about the specific chemicals in some drugs so I didn't know, but ambien made me trip like that, like I was dreaming but awake. Everything was extremely twisted, I was hallucenating like hell..that's my famous "I saw Jesus" experience that lasted about 3-4 hours.

Then I puked a whole lot.

See I always seem to be able to maybe not differentiate if it's real/not real, but I've always been able to keep that little bit of sanity far deep down in my brain that allows me to laugh and say holy shit this is some scary shit that this drug is making me see/think.

I imagine at this point you were so messed up from the amount you took that you couldn't communicte with that part of yer brain huh? That sucks.

I was but an empty shell. I wasn't controlling anything about what I was doing, I couldn't think logically, I could only watch and that was twisted and hazy too.
