yes the milkyway(galaxy we live in) ends i dunno the stats on it, but the universe it is in is said to have never end, the big bang theory states that our galaxy was created by a gigantic explosion which means that everything outside our galaxy is moving away from us at an astronomical speed making deep space exploration useless because we would never be albe to acheive the speed to catch up... what always gets me is peoples chalanges to the speed of light theory... most people would agree that light moves faster than anything right?... ok well lets say the sun went out(as if it was a lightbulb.. no explosion, just turns out) it would take 8 minutes for all of the rays of light to get to the earth then it would go dark right(thats just doing the simple math of speed of light times distance) and thats the fastest anything could travel right??? so same scenario except this time the sun dissappears instead of shutting off, still takes 8 min for the rest of the light rays to get here right? but without the sun the earth would instantly lose orbit because of the absense of the suns gravity... so is gravity faster than light... as of now theres no way to prove this
