If you haven't heard Strapping Young Lad I stongly suggest you check them out.....of course they won't be to everyones taste but I think they are fucking awsome and one of the best metal bands around at the moment....if not the best imo. So yeah you should check out their "city" album.....if you just want a few songs to d/l then i suggest in this order: :) "Oh My Fucking God" ...... ........ and then Rating: 5

Not really my sort of music, I'm more into melodic power metal, bands like Gamma Ray, Sonata Arctica, Freedom Call, Hammerfall etc.

Still its always good to hear new music.

i personally think rap music creates more problems in society....

maybe you see metal speading a bad message like I see rap spreading a bad message.....i just hate gangs to tell you the truth....and alot of rap music represent gands and shit....I dont think it's good for kids to hear about shit like that....i guess the same could be said for metal....

but is it better for one kid to kill themselves? or one kid to sjoot a whole load of other kids?....

I think you will find there are far far more rap bands refering to drug use than metal bands.

There is nothing wrong with rap...and I do like some rap music....but shit like 50 cent and lil jon is not what i want my kids to be listening to....its all about violence, bitches, cars and money....im pretty sure there are more important things in life than these....I also hate gangs for promoting violence


Im not saying there arn't any metal bands out there that don't promote violence...infact there are a fair few....

Hank...i'm not too sure what you mean by "pure"...and you can't really generalise that all hipppies are fucked up....im pretty sure its up to the person if they are fucked up not the music.....the music doesn't make the person....its up to the person to make themselves.
