Homemade Absinthe

I made homemade Absinthe once, from some kit I bought over the internet. My legs got a little numb, but that was probably from the vodka. It was like 40 percent alcohol. That shit was fucking bitter. I bought it from this guy.

I don't think I can get ahold of everclear in the UK, do you think using 45% Blue label vodka will be alrite that will be just under 100 proof,well it'll be about 95 proof. Also did you distill yours?

45% = 90 proof. It won't work. How is bud and shrooms partially decriminalized in the UK.. but you guys don't have high-proof liquor?

Dunno mate, but shrooms just recently got criminalized, and bud is a class c drug but that may be better laws than in some states in the US, howcome 90 proof won't work? :thumbsup:

they sell absinthe at my local shop 80% by vol cant remember how to work out the proof of the alcohol tho
its £38 a bottle of 75 cl

why make it yourself you can buy absinthe in the uk at 80% by vol why risk making something toxic n killing yourself when theres no need
