Today 25 years ago John died. I was moving plants from green house to basement to finish grow cycle when my mother told me of the terrible news. It was as if the world stood still for 7 days or more after his death. Everyone was devastated.. I remember my mother after the 3rd week asking when will the radio station stop with the Beatle songs... I replied Mom.. Lennon will live forever in my heart and of billions of his fans. He's spirit and music has lived and will forever.

hempy Reviewed by hempy on . John Lennon was my Hero It was 25 years ago today that John Lennon was shot to death just out-side of his apartment building. I remember it like yesterday. I was in the back yard the following morning of his death tending my pot garden and my mother came running out in tears saying Johns been shot, John Lennon is dead... I couldn't believe my ears as I could never imagine anyone who would kill such a great peace activist, father, husband, song writer.
