    Getting tooo Big!!

Hi Although I am not new to growing, I am looking for some advice on Vegative growth times, I bred 2 plants earlier in the year, for a seed crop, and the results so far have been amazing! the seeds germinated within 6 hours and had 1/2" tap roots after 12 hrs, it has now been just under 5 weeks from germination, and they are well into the veg phase, the largest of which is just over 14", my intention was to keep these small so that they finish off no taller than 28"-30". they are all in a hydro dripper system, and I would prefere not to top them or bend them, but am wondering if it is too early to put them into 12/12 as they may not have built up enough reserves! Anybody ever had a similar experience?

ytou are cool to flower. you have good secondary growth and all around healthy plants. you just ddid a good job witht his grow and it vegged at a high rate. YOu shjould be proud that they are soo big so fast not concerned. what matters for switching to flower is pretty much the number of nodes. you have plenty of healthy growth to fuel the plant through flower. especialy with a hydro system. your plants can absorb nutes way fater so while in flower they draw less energy from them selves that soil grown plants.

    FLOWER BABY.

what strain? just out of interest.

Thanks for that, this is what I suspected but wanted a second opinion! its been a while since i grew from seed stock, as I usually take clones and veg them for around 3-4 weeks, but these babies seem to be turbo charged! I just couldn't find any reference anywhere to flowering after 32 days from germination, it will be interesting to see how quick these flower! the mother from which the seed came from, showed flower after 8 days, but I had a serious botrytis problem, and decided to destroy the entire crop of 20 plants, however I managed to salvage the seed from around 5 or 6 of the earlier flowering plants, a lot of the seed was quiet imature, but half the plants in the pic were grown from these imature seeds, and so far the results have been amazing! Will keep you posted.

    Thanks

The mother was AK-47, which is an easy grow, the father was from seeds a friend gave me which he found in some Skunk, which was a beautifull smoke, (but don't know the strain) I grew a few plants and they all turned male, so decided to cross it with the AK-47. the results so far look primarily indica to me, due to the broad leaves, which are broader than the AK and the Father.

Hi, the seeds are available from plenty of seed banks on the internet, as far as smell goes, they do stink a bit, but in my opinion not as much as some other varieties of skunk! I use a carbon filter extraction system in a sealed room, and that seems to take care of it.
