There wouldn't be much of a reason to do so. The only reason that I can think of to do that is to combine the rate of delivery of nutrients that hydroponics provides and the flavor that soil provides. Besides that it'll be really fscking messy with all the soil and the water. Would be interesting to do but there wouldn't be much of a reson to do so.
syrrus Reviewed by syrrus on . Soil & Hydro - duel power? Hey everyone My mind has ponderd upon another odd idea and I am wondering if this would actually work, and would it increase the growth rate of the plant and size. Could you grow your plant in soil, and instead of repotting letting your roots grow out the bottom threw little holes and going into a net pot, making it a hydro/soil grow? Or could you make it a soil and then have the roots grow into soil? Just an idea. Rating: 5
