Weed before Sports

do you guys feel like it's a buzz-kill to be active while your stoned? unfortunately for me, i'm frequently inconsistent, which makes it more obvious to notice my moments of total awareness.

But, ganj, I don't get a buzz-kill by being active. In the summer I spent a lot of my time in a park with friends, and than I frisbeed a lot. Believe it or not, but it can be a pretty exhaustive activity, yet I somehow enjoyed it, though normally I'm just one lazy fuck.

i play hockey haven't gone high yet but i know a few kids that do go highs oetime i jsut never have the chance too

Honestly, sports and weed don't mix, in my opinion. I mean, if you're playing seriously like on a team... then playing high isn't good. I know I'd be short of breath.

This brings up a very very good point....no intoxicants ever when engaging in shooting sports. Too easy to do a lot of damage. I'm convinced it's one of the reasons we have so many hunting accidents. The old rite of passage thing where you drink all night in the deer camp and then try and be stealthy and accurate at 5am the next day. Or fall asleep and fall out of the deerstand. Idiots. Never mix guns and intoxicants. On the other hand, if you're playing frisbee golf, you're probably ok.

I can understand where ur friend is coming from, I light up a J right before a basketball game and tear shit up on the court...it helps me concentrate better.
