I think those commercials are good. Anyone who smokes the ganja, really knows whats up, and they dont really care what those commercials say.
They obviously are for the kids, and I think they are good, because it makes kids think twice before getting into it, instead of promoting it like all the Beer companies do, where it makes alky look like thats what you should be doing to have fun.:rasta: :stoned:

Educating using fact and scaring using lies are two entirely different things. They have no desire to make kids "think" about anything.

i swear to god i went to the site to try and find a place to email them and give them a piece of my mind, i havent had a bad grade since i started smokin. of course hey dont have an email address, and i saw the one with no bones. those little anus pies suck, and they should focus on harder drugs instead of weed.
in Hell they sell you nickel bags, and when you get home you find out theyre m&m\'s...
Smokey the Bear is way more intense in person...

Anti-drug commercials are the equivalent of bumper stickers. Nobody's opinion changes after 30 seconds whether they're sitting at home or in the middle of traffic.

It creates a general idea about pot, within the citizen, and those people will never vote for a decriminalization or legalization of cannabis because of those ads...And kids won't think twice when they hit the teens...Believe me iwas the first to be against everything that is off the pre-determined path, i remember what it's like to be confined within somebody elses thought, the government thought... Than without thinking twice or even thinking at all, I took my first puff and woke up from everything i already knew to be true...
Those ads are only waste of money even if you are against pot, because it changes nothing to the actual situation, it only gives a fictional sens of security...

i get sort of offended. most of the people who make these commercials have never smoked pot before. how could they possibly know that people start being lazy and dependent on others if these people smoke pot a lot. if they make the excuse "studies show" well thats probably just a bunch of bull shit. i have been smoking for like 2 and a half years and i am a really active person, i do my schoolwork (most of the time) and i haveplenty of hobbies that dont have anything to do with weed. plus they say the younger you are the better quicker chance you will be addicted, im only 15 and i have been smoking for two years, im definitely not addicted. most of my friends (a lot of them) are they same as me. i think generations are getting smarter and wiser.
