Does any one else become offended by the above the influence commercial or is it just thinking they give us pot smokers an even worse name calling us dumb, boring, and lazy. When some of the biggest "pot heads" i know work harder and go to work more then most of the straight edged ppl i know.

I havent seen these commercials (I tried to check them out on their website but the feeds wouldn't work.) but in my experience all prohibitionist comercials are the same: Hilarious.
I'd like to see some comercials depicting alcohol drinkers in the same light.
Not that I have anything against the booze it's just that it would show the double standard that most people believe and support.
The official intoxicant of these united states is alcohol, cannabis is a far superior recreational drug, also most pot smokers tent to be free thinkers so it's understandable that the powers that be would want to discourage it's use.

here in quebec they are "subtle"... they show a couple of kids in a circle door (sorry i don't know what is the exact word in english, but youknow those doors at the hotel, that rotates...) never getting out of it and a message shows : drugs alchool and slot machines will get you nowhere...man if i was one of those kids i'd just say to the guys who wants me to be in the ads: fuck you...

the best are the billboards that go "it doesnt have to end here (picture of a homeless guy on the street) but it can start here (picture of a preppy white kid being handed a joint)." i think they should have added "but it probably will begin here (Picture of kid cutting class) or here (picture of the kid robbing a jewel store)"
