    thinking of flowering

LST is the best method for a beginner to start training with, but that plant is still too small to start LST... IMO

You got some nice plant bro I siggest just let her grow. Then change it to 12/12 when she gets atleast 1 foot. Then let her bud for a while AKA:Flower for like 3-5 weeks and your good. Good luck man

    LOL

flower for way longer than 3 weeks

unless you know the strain you gotta read the plant to tell when it is ready... the quickest finishing strains go about 45 days or just over 6 weeks... the average harvest window is 6-8 weeks, longer if you have a highly sativa dominant plant.. which it doesnt look like you do

wait until your 6th week of flowering to start looking for signs of maturity on your buds

Hello Rastagal Well love you have been getting lots of different advice....................It kinda makes growing a plant sound difficult doesn't it, It's not.....honest
I can tell you that after you have grown this plant and then maybe a little crop or two, then you will think "this is easy, I don't know what all the fuss was about" . Mind you problems can still ocurr but usually they just grow themselves with the minimal need of interference.

It really is up to you when you want to start inducing . Everyone has their own little methods of growing and after a few grows you will find which way is best for you

    Morning, pet, how are ya
You know Mand, I think i take your approach better than others. You do it simply without all the Science blinding bits thats what I want too, just to let it grow simply. The advice can get confusing cant it but still it does help, its great to hear different ideas I spoze.
I was looking at plant a while, ago, and I said to myself, Self, this is easy, Mand is right
Im bad at checking soil ph.
So I dont, I just let it grow, and it seems to be working like you told me.

its starting to smell great tho mand, you'd be proud of me specially the bits in the middle.

    respect ,

And Morning to you love as well
I would never knock any of the advice that you had, honestly there are a lot of very knowledgable people on these boards. Also the more technical side does yeild some fantastic results but maybe I'm just to thick or lazy (or both ) as long as I can grow enough for me then I'm happy

You know I have no idea what cannabis actually smells like, or anything else for that matter I have no sense of smell whatsoever, never ever had. However when the plants are thick with resin I can taste it in the air when they are disturbed, that kinda gives me a clue that they are getting ready for harvest, oh and how they look as well

I wouldn't reccomend that you pinch the plant, not on this grow anyway..............prehaps with future grows As for bending, there really is no need for you're plant, mind you that's something I've never done.

You're doing absolutely fine, looks nice and healthy and the new growth is coming on great

Yea your gonna need to at that age. An estimate time for a plant to grow good I'd say i anywhere from 3-4 months to fully develop
