You Could Kill Your Plant
This is not meant to be a guide to pruning, just what I did
Pruning as far as I did it... after she matured and about a week before till a week into flowering I would just prune on a daily basis, not over doing it.
DO NOT THROW AWAY THOSE LEAVES, THEY SMOKE WELL, YOU CAN BAKE WITH THEM, AND THE MORE MATURE (1st WEEK OF FLOWERING, YOU WILL SEE THEM REALLY STICKY AND FULL OF RESIN)
Fan Leaves - I would prune off all mature fan leaves and leave the top 2 mature sets. As new ones would mature, CLIP... the last set goes. That's why you see all the stubs at the branch sites.
Smaller Leaves - I would prune off any leaves where there was noticable growth at that leaf. So If I saw a small flower site, I would leave it alone unitl it was about 1/2 an inch tall to and inch tall, and clip!
This was done over time, not to stress the bitch out. But at the end I ended up with a shaven plant that is producing buds all over without the mess of huge fan leaves, extra growth leaves, and doing well I guess?
EXPERIENCED TOMATO GROWERS - PLEASE COMMENT ON WHAT I DID OR DID NOT DO RIGHT!!!!
I don't want someone else following these comments and killing a great growing tomato plant.HydroDynamics Reviewed by HydroDynamics on . How are these looking....
