Ok, as some of you may have already read in another thread, one of our community members has found himself in a difficult situation.
Due to a long series of unfortunate events he is amoung other things, found himself unable to be the santa for his kids that he wishes he could be this year. He has 4 little ones who are facing the real possibility of waking up christmas morning to find that santa didnt come. For a child this is something impossible to understand, and something kids shouldnt have to deal with. It is supposed to be a time full of magic and wonder and of course...presents!
Now, I dont know him personally but he is a member of this community and a member of our greater community of caring people.
I dont know about you folks but I just cant sit by and not try to do something to help him put the magic back into the season for his little ones.

So, here is what I propose:

I dont think I know anyone who has a paypal account that doesnt have a dollar or two sitting in the bottom of it. It too little to spend, and too little to withdrawl. So, that got me to thinking that if we all take those few bucks and compile them we just might have enough to buy a few gifts. Some of the community can afford to send a little more than others and I hope you can find it in your hearts to step up and help make some kids happy on christmas morning.
I know I have a few bucks that would otherwise just sit in the account and I cant think of a better place to send it than to these kids.

Some of you may prefer to buya gift and mail it. We can work that out too. I have asked him to provide me with his kid's wish list so those who would rather shop and ship can get what the kids are asking santa for.

He also has a medical need for some med pot and I know some of you can help him with that to help ease his incredible physical pain and discomfort.
Once he has it set up I/he will post the paypal info and an email addy so you can write him regarding mailing gifts to him and his family. No need to post his address on the boards. We can keep that stuff private.

Some of you creative minds can surely come up with other suggestions to make the spirit of the holidays shine brighter in his home and I encourage you to post them here.

And btw...scrooges need not reply. Keep the negativity and spam away please. This just simply isnt the appropriate place for it.
