Beyond someone just being a "good" sitter, find someone who knows about acid trips and likes to have fun with trippers. Creativity is a must. They are the BEST! During my first time the sitter was a long time acid user and he did the coolest shit to help the trip. He'd put a houseplant up in front of my face and pretend I was in a jungle, so of course, I'd think I was in a jungle. We played some cool trippy music (Crystal Method - Vegas) had black lights, various colored strobe lights. He'd tell me these stoner jokes at random and if I didn't think he was speaking an alien language, it actually made sense (ex. Q. How many pancakes does it take to build a doghouse? A. None. Alligators can't fly.) and then we'd get all philosophical about pancakes, doghouses, and alligators. Watching television was awesome, too. I'll never forget the purple omletes with handles (yeah, you heard right) I saw during an IHOP commercial and a portrait of General Pumpkinhead when watching some shit on the History channel about some war. I swear, his head looked like a white jack-o-lantern. Ha. Then out of nowhere my friend would say, "Look the flying flowers everywhere!" And of course, power of suggestion is extremely strong on this drug. Then I flipped on Alice In Wonderland and waxed philosophical over how Alice is chasing the rabbit just like I'm chasing this trip but she won't know it until its too late. Then I went and wrote down some stuff about government conspiracy.

The one thing about it to always remember is that its not a passive drug. It is what you make it and it can be the best mind fuck ever if done they way you WANT to do it, instead of how you THINK it should be based on preconceived notions. In essence, it can be anything you want. You can meet god, you can use it as a mind-expanding spiritual drug, or it can be just plain fun. I used it for all kinds of reasons and it always delivered.

Like someone else mentioned, don't do it with someone you don't like. I tried once, and I had a fucking panic attack and locked myself in the bathroom and would scream if I even saw a shadow under the door. I wasn't having a bad trip.. it was a damn good one, actually. The hallucinations were rockin'. But the other people around me were just TOO intense for me to handle. It was like their mere existence was so overpowering to my senses, when they spoke it was like hearing the voice of god. An annoying god you want desperately to yell at and make go away, but overwhelming nonetheless.

My first experience, the comeup was INTENSE. I was starting to weird out a little when my sitter got my attention away from the intense world opening up to me and onto better things. I first starting noticing things change color. Not cartoonish, but a slow, swirly fade effect. Once my attention was on the cool shit instead of the tension, I was fine and it was all fun from there. Definitely do it in the dark! The hallucinations are far better. I tried it in daytime and the outside world was creepy and also boring as hell.

yeah i "trip sat" my friend once but now every time he trips like on anyother drugs he tihinks im with him and will talk to me. And be like hey man get off the computer... lol its kinda of funny. But yeah acid looks fun i really would like to try it soon.

I read somewhere that if your body can only use so much acid at a time, so if you take to much it just kinda sits there inside you until the acid that your body is using is used up. So its kinda like if you take too much your body will store it and then use it when you are out of it. That would make you trip for a long time if you took too much, but not forever.
