Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs, but many people are just plain incorrect. For instance I always hear people say how god made this and that and we're here because of god blah blah blah, well then how was god made?

Is it at all possible to die and continue existing? Not really.

How come god doesn't use his powers to tell the world what the world needs to hear?

I know that I've just pissed off tons of people, and will again in this sentence, but how can anyone be sooooo stupid to think that there is a devil and there is a god? Or how can someone think if they're bad they'll go to hell, but if good to heaven. It's impossible, and science repeatedly shows what really happens, but of course many religious people are still stuck in a time warp so they believe all of this nonsense.

I would believe there are aliens on distant planets way before believing in a god. Especially since there are so many planets, etc.

Because humans themselves can be so naive and stupid, I believe that's why religion is still around today.

Religion is just another drug, man. It creates boundaries of what is acceptable and unnaceptable. It sets up what is deviant and whats not. These boundaries are all set up by the morepowerful clan to control the larger poorer clans of society. It's basic purpose is to keep the peons in order. It pains me to see poor people who should be finding a new way to make money or join forces with other poor people to better themselves just drop to a knee and pray to a God that was created by the very people that exploit them.

But I do believe that there is SOMETHING out there. There are too many things and forces we can't explain away. I beilieve in ghosts so its hard for me to say there is no god. i don't belive in the biblical god but i do believe in a life force, the enegery inside of us that makes us self-concience. And there is such a thing as good and evil and we are born with the ability to percieve it, it's one feeling that religion taps into that isn't purely a control. The perception of good and evil is natural. It's society that makes up the rules after that, like weed is bad but beer is ok, thats when it starts getting hypocritical, when men get together and decide what is best for toher men and will keep people in line rather than looking inward and finding in your heart what really matters, which should be to clothe and feed the needy rather than tell them they cant smoke weed.

Also, NDE's .. some of them are unexplainable. Science has come to "explain" some of these experiences, but some are impossible to explain. How can someone blinde all their life be able to see and identify objects in a room when she went into cardiac and respritory arrest.. or people that are clinically dead and are able to tell doctors when they are rescusitated of conversations and events that happened on opposite sidesof the hospital or even the world.. then when these events are checked upon they are actually valid events. Kinda weird.. but unexplainable?
