well, www.overgrow.com has a great faq for beginers to advanced. i've noticed that most seed sites have some sort of profile that suggests ideals, i.e. indoor/outdoor.

also, read up on some of the posts here. a lot of people have come thru with the same questions and you won't have to wait for someone to answer.
