pretty harsh reply since you dont know for sure what happened, and powair is just reaching out for help. but we are all old enough and mature enough to make our own assumptions and draw our own conclusions.

powair, since I live in the US, the best advice I can give is for him to get a lawyer. he will fare a lot better if you have someone who knows the laws, and knows how the system works. best of luck in finding out the truth as to what really happened.

well in the us they charge 16 year olds as adults. what might happen with your bf is he might go to juvi till he turns legal and then he will be shipped off to the big house.

yeah your right it was pretty harsh.

But I havnâ??t forgotten that she was bitching about her parents because they wouldnâ??t buy her a new ipod after she traded the one they already got her to a drug dealer for some crack.

I also remember when she was bitching about her parents because they insisted she ride the horse they bought for her.

And it seems I recall when she was mad at her parents because they wouldnâ??t stop everything they were doing and go pick her up at her bf house in the middle of the night so instead she had to walk home. *forget about how she got to her bf house in the first place or why this knight in shinning armor wouldnâ??t see to it that his girlfriend got home safely* it seems to be her parents fault.

And now her dirtbag bf sexually assaulted and robbed a woman twice his age. But somehow he seems to be the victim.

She never seems to take any personal responsibility for her own actions. She is a victim after all.

So yeah I guess you could say I have drawn my own assumptions and conclusions.

Sounds like this bf is a real class act. I would dump him, and find someone who won't aggravate the hell out of you.

Anyways, it is in Canada. We got judges brains made of jelly here. Like someone mentioned already, the women drugging, raping, killijg her own sister, got only 10yrs. Pathetic.

There was a case here last year where a 16yr old boy stabbed a 15yr old boy to death at a bus stop over a $60 debt. The boy who killed got only 8months in the local reman center, and 1 yr probabtion. The judge claims, the boy who got killed, initiated the fight to begin with, so I guess that makes it okay for a 16yr old to carry a lethal weapon and use because he's having a temper tantrum. Makes me sick.

I'm getting to a point here. Canadas legal system is shit. You can get away with anything here.

You said there is no evidence agianst him for this sexual assault, no evidence=no case which ='s less time or no time at all. For your sake though, if he did do it, he is scum and I hope he gets sent to a big house so he can get fucked in his virgin, sick asshole for years to come.

Sounds like he's a thief too. He won't get much time for $5000 worth. He'll get maybe a month or 2 in jail. A month if he's on good behaviour.

This guy sounds like an idiot. Won't walk you home, sexual assaults women twice his age, steals...he's on a good road to jail and maybe jail will straighten him out. For his sake, and yours, I hope he goes for awhile. Maybe all that ass fucking will clear his head while his ass gets filled. Good luck!

Ok. My boyfriend is in trouble. In January 2005, he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman twice his age. He's had several different court appearances, the last one in early august. They set him another date for January 31, 2006. This is over a year since the incident occured. They also have no circumstantial evidence, since the claim was filed 2 weeks after it happened.

Now, this week, he recieved a letter from the police. It is another charge, this one for "the theft of a purse, wallet, jewelry, canadian currency and credit cards amounting to over 5000 dollars". The incident occured on November 11, 2004. This court date is set for January 5, 2006.

He says he didn't do either, though he was extremely drunk during the alleged sexual assault and doesn't remember that night very well. That's not the point though. I know these are two very serious charges, and regardless of whether or not he did it, I just can't see them both being dropped.

He will be 17 at the end of December. Does anyone have any idea on what his sentence may be? He is still a juvenile. Can they try a 17 year old as an adult? Is it likely that he'll have to serve time in a juvenile centre?
Ok honey have you talked to the DA.
