Those things are Amyls. And yeah, that dude above got it right. I really wanna try them, they sound like a blast.

But yeah, has anybody read the book? It's superific. And since it's a movie made from the book, there's quite a few scenes they left out.

For instance, at the end. Raoul gets on a plane and zonks out, waking up while landing in Denver. He then fakes a prescription for Amyls at an airport first aid booth.

But the reason I like the book most of all, is the diner scene. I FUCKING HATE that scene in the movie. It always fucks up my high and makes feel bad. And kinda scared. Ugh.

But's it's different in the book. Actually, not really. But I kind of like it. I remember reading it for the first time just DREADING it, and knowing it was coming up. But it's a lot easier to appreciate the humor. So, pretty much for that reason I love the book more.

Oh shit, and whilst we're discussing Dr. Thompson, if you ever find Screwjack in a bookstore, FUCKING BUY IT!

It's just three short stories. Not like fiction, but, you know, Gonzo stories. It's easily my favorite work of his.

And, in the beginning, there's a note from him to the editor, telling him what order to put the stories in, and he nailed it. If they were in a different order, it wouldn't have had nearly the same effect.

GO BUY IT! Or, steal it. It's pretty small, it'd be pretty easy.

I love it, havnt yet had the pleasure to watch it stoned yet:dance: Yah, chakruh, hes got it right pretty much. I dont know what Amyls are, maybe the name for them, not common name. They are called smelling salts. Thats why when Dr.Gonzo is freakin out, like fuck, he breaks it open and lets him smell it, then Raol Duke takes a big wiff, lmfao. Its for like when people are passed out and other shit, really strong. :dance: GREAT MOVIE
