They are nice but I just always build my own because I can make it whatever size I want and it's a hell of alot cheaper. If you are not good at building though they are ideal.

just ordered a kool tube, rotating fan, 95cfm fan. 400 bucks so far. and it is a whole lot cheaper than 2 grand.

OMG that room looks great!!! You can use 1000 watts in there as long as you air cool the hood and have a glass insert for it. You'll need 265cfms to exhaust 1000 watts though so maybe you can get by with the 400 watt light.
