got the plants in their new home . inside the box is 85% steady light is 2 ft away with the cool tube how close can i get it to the plants? i know by doing the hand test but if i get them 1 ft away it wont hurt them will it?

i forgot to cut the extra hole for the intake/exhaust to late in the night to do it today. plus how long do i flower for? going to new york to watch the ball drop on new years

When the pistils (white hairs) are 60% to 75% orange or reddish in color. If you harvest at 60% the high will be more cerebral (sativa like high) and the later you wait the high will be more couch lock (indica like high). :stoned:

I feel the hand method is the best way to go. I'm not there to look at it and I don't want to tell you something that I cannot observe for myself. However as long as the cool tube is being ventilated properly you can get it pretty damned close. I used to own a cool tube with a 400 watt hps bulb and got it less than 6 inches away from the plant tops ventilating with a 265cfm active air exhaust blower.

trichome crator i got it now, i cut a hole in the box to put the intake/ exhaust fan in . its working excellent. had to put a humidifier in it as well 83 degrees and 40% humidity. also i pickeed up a moisture reader for the soil.

going to switch to 400w mh tomorrow for the rest of the veg cycle, plants dropping , need to apply CPR. lol :thumbsup:
