Damn ants!!

I got ants in my closet all the sudden now, i never heard of them killing plants or anything but I think I should double check..does anyone know? If so what should I do to get ride of these little pests?

They feed off the roots...it's not going to kill them but I'm guessing if you left em they would stunt growth.I can't remember how to get rid of them...maybe a tiny bit off H2O2 in the water(don't take my word for that)

Ant traps have a certain smell that leads them to the box then kills them thow right? wont that polonate my leafs and kill them?

Dont know shit bout ant traps but id use something else like honey or jam someting sugery to distract them off your plants if you worried bout the ant traps fuck didnt realize how old this thread was fuck it

Diatomaceous earth is very effective on getting rid of ants.

easy////i grow outside and the ants eat my shit too....if u use vinegar and sum cayanne pepper.....springle that around the [;amts and then put some vinegar in water and water the soil with that for a day....ants will go bye bye....the pepper burns their feelers and the smell kills them....also put grits or oatmeal on the soil and thw ants willl eat it thinkin its food....the grits or oatmeal will absorb all the moisture in their bodies making them dehydrate and die////organic is the way to be!!!!!!!

I had ants at my VT farm. They were kind of cool and never caused me problems. I had a 15 by 15 foot room full of plants so maybe thats why I did not see any probs. They were mostly in the closet of pots I had where I did not take out the soil yet do to a couple reasons. The main one was laziness but I am sure there may have been more. Any way once I took the hundreds of gallon pots full of soil out of the closet they disappeared. Sure I had to sweep to,o but it only took a min. I would think they would help airate the soil but who knows. I say feed them food, let them airate, and make some friends. They dont bite. Put neem oil on the food so they cant breed. They like to smoke or atleast mine did.
