yeah you guys are more or less horribly misinformed..


no amount of situps or leg lifts will help you lose a gut.

if you want to decrease bodyfat, it's all about diet + cardio.


doing situps and leg lifts will only help develop/strengthen your abdominal muscles..however, those muscles will still be covered by a layer of fat, i.e. your gut.

you won't lose your gut by doing abdominal exercises as you can't spot reduce...meaning, you can't lose fat in X area by working it out..bodyfat is lost gradually all over your body.

Add onto the fact that exercises like leg lifts and situps don't really burn many calories to begin with will only make it harder.


it's all about diet + cardio.
