it'll be cool for the first week, then your hair and head might start to smell. i've seen it on girls and i think it looks nice.

You can buy special shampoo for your dreads so your hair and head stay clean, without destroying the dreads. My buddy use to have them and she showed me the shampoo...it looked like a small bar of butter, but his dreads were always clean and not greasy/smelly.

I like girls with dreads. Some girls it looks good, some it doesn't. You can't please everyone, do what you please.
