This is a pretty common misconception. Yes, companies can write off their losses but as anyone who actually pays taxes and takes deductions knows, you don't get 100% of it back. For example I can write off my daughter's day care but the govt only gives me about 30 cents back for every $ I spend. The other 70 cents goes to Iraq and George Bush's butt plugs.

As far as insurace is concerned, it don't come for free either. If there is enough theft that a store needs insurance for it they are going to pay out the ass. In the end it all just means higher prices for the honest folks who don't steal.

So maybe you just steal a cd from Walmart. No biggie right? Well, think of all the other folks out there who think the same way as you do. That's gonna be a lot of cds. That means a lot of money, even after write offs and insurance.

Now think about somebody else, they are honest and hard working, but poor. Their little girl wants nothing more than a Barbie doll for X-mas. They go to Walmart to buy it but can't because Walmart has had to raise their prices due to theft and now that honest hard working person can't afford the Barbie Doll. So, how 'bout you go to their house X-Mas morning and explain to that little girl why your stealling, simply because it gets your tiny little dick hard, is more important than her Barbie.

i was gonna say that. steal from stores and companies but not from hard working individuals. oh yea, also steal from the rich folks, they deserve it.

Noone deserves to be stolen from! Most rich people have worked for their money, while some do inherit it, and other crap like that, you still have no right to steal from them. Grow up and earn your own money, because stealing is wrong no matter what excuses you make for it.

You can all ways tell the ones who don't make much of them self. Steal from the rich cause I'm to lazy to work hard & get rich my self. My sister in law is like that & she is a looser too. You stament does not even make sense. Don't steal from hard working people, but steal from the rich. How do you think they got there money. I'm sure you think someone just gave it to them right? meh. i think it's funny that some of you are condeming stealing because it costs the hard working man/woman money. so true. but prepare for the truth.... PREPARREEEEEEE. Damn I fucking HATE Stealing! Well I dont care if someone does it to a store, as long as I have nothing to do with it. But God, that's the worst fucking thing someone could do! To steal from an individual, that's fucked up. Well it fucked up to steal from either store or an individual, but it's worse to steal from an Individual.

At my best friends funeral, we were having all of her friends come to my house afterwards and stuff. Well me, my sis, my mom and a couple of others went about 3 hrs. away so we could go with her family and bury her. Well we had a movie camera in my living room so people could watch the tapes of her, and when we got home our video camera was gone, all the tapes, everything. I was so fucking mad and so upset I couldn't do anything. I couldn't even ask people if they saw it.

I think it's so fucked up to steal, and if I ever catch anyone stealing from me I would seriously flip out. I've other other times than this one where I was stolen from in the past, and if I could find thoise people I would beat the fuck out of them
