drying methods

Hey people
Could anyone offer any advice on the following.

Best method for drying ( I have 2 large plants hanging upside down in a darkened cupboard but there doesnt seem to be any of that lovely smell i normally get )

Also got about 40 plants 4 weeks from harvesting. I have been misting these every day due to an outbreak of spider mite last year. Can misting everyday wash away THC as I am also finding that they dont smell half as nice as they used to.

Hope someone can help with this enquiry I would really appreciate it.
