How to top?

Would anyone be able to give me detailed instructions on how to top and then clone my plant. I think it may have a mutation which will increase yeild so before i put it into flower i would like to have a mother plant.

Thanks Zandor, that was a little helpful but what I am really looking for is someone with experience to give me step by step instructions on just how to do it. I appreciate the link though.

take a sharp exacto knife or razor blade...take firm hold of top to be cut and...cut above 4th or 5th node...that's it...make sure it is at least 4"s so you can clone it. :thumbsup:

cloning 101 in the faqs, is just about the best method of cloning out there...I use this no-dome method myself...the only difference is I use a bubbler and Zandor uses a pvc/sprinkler system...both home-made...I am posting a step by step clone thread; Soon I hope...New job has my ass whipped.lw

p.s. there are cloning step by steps all over the internet, if you look for them...
I read growfaqs and forums for 6-12 months before posting and finally started growing later on...we love to help, but appreciate if you do some reading on your own ...keep in mind; We have all done "our homework"...later.lw

that site is too uptight with all the rules and BS for me but they have lots of GREAT info, real professional and organized, with clear explanations

better than any info i have found anywhere else on the net
