Dude, if the heat is too much,

Try a sealed hood for your light. Or a Cool Tube. Mellow Man has a good FAQ. And I built a cool tube for under... um, ... um... . under... something like under $50. Works wonderfully.

As to closing your cabinet; that's a bullet you're going to have to bit sooner or later... I mean, when they start to flower: what about the smell?

MY SET UP 1ST TRY Hello I I'm having a heat prob, I got home from work and my closet grow room temp was 109%F with a 3ft fan moving air around in the closet by the way i have a 400wMH. Today was the 2nd day with this set up yesterday it wasnt as hot I think the outside weather had a lot to do with that being that it wasnt really cold today. But my question is should I install an A/C in my closet (its a window a/c) cause i dont even think 3 fans would do any good :confused: or should i get a 250 MH the Rating: 5

Yea well my plan was to run a 2ft duct fan intake from outside the house to the closet and have the vent, heat the air into the wall(80cfm), now will this work? Im mean for 1, the outside temp this time of season is about 20-45%F (northern east)the duct fan will be 80cfm my grow box closet is 2x4x7, I have a 400wMH and a 400hps for flowering? 2. will the hot air vent be ok in my walls and will that take care of the oder as well? So far so good anyway for now but I want to plan my ducting system and get things moving along so I can have my closet door closed. PLease Respond if you know

I was about to go to bed and i noticed the plant with what looks to be 2 more little plants growing within the same pot. Now I put each seed in its seperate pot so what are those 2 little guys growing right next to it? What should I do is that bad or good? Oh the reason the bigger plant has the 2 leaves yellow is because on the 1st day I closed my closet door and the temp reached 109% but I quicly tried my best to fix the prob and they almost all recovered fine execpt 2 which are taking bit longer but its getting better. :thumbsup:

Hello B Well if you only put the one seed in the pot then you only have the one plant
The other things growing will be just some spores or something like that already in the compost you're using. I sometimes get other stuff sprouting out of the compost, just pull them out

to keep a more consistenet temp you are going to have to use an air cooled hood and a inline fan.the 400 puts out alot of heat.you are not going to be able to effectively and consistenetly keep that room cool.remeber you are actually making a small greenhouse in your closet.you are going to have to vent that light to get good results from your grow

Hello this is my plants day 9 from soil. This is four out of my 9 which seem to look ok, but some of leaves on them look torn but their just twisted? I think it might be the fan but I cant really lower the setting cause of the heat. 2 plants seem to be growing very slow I think they are having a tough time getting back on there feet from the 1st day when the temps were so high without any fresh air.
