The lady who asked you if you would blow in your babies face will love me after this. She is saying no to pot, but would she say no to cetain meds and rx's during pregnancy just because her doctor said it was ok.

I will tell you this. The best thing you can do for yourself is research. First, find a website like pubmed and some cannabis sights that show research studies. Make sure you see who it was paid for by, and if it is a reliable study (how many people and if they were only smoking pot). 2nd, read through as many as 10-20. Some will be for and some against. What you will find is that most that i read that were against don't have relaible studies (they use various ages, people who smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol) They just aren't specific and the government substitute, is just that. A substitute. It isn't natural and it is man made.

There is nothing harmful in THC itself, that any research has found. It is in the smoke. The more smoke, the less oxygen to yoru baby. Answer, don't smoke a lot. Enough for you to smoke a little toke in the morning to pass morning sickness and a little at night to help with heartrate an sleeping should not have (in my opinion) have any ill effects. The medications they give woman to overcome morning sickness are far more dangerous and can have many terrible side effects.

Do make sure you are eating well. Unfortunately, smoking gave me the munchies and I had to substitute my candy for frozen fruit, or fruit or something creative. Large amounts of sugar, especially at bedtime will possibly lead to blood sugar problems for you and baby.

As for after baby is here. You need to understand that everything you do nursing can sometime be more harmful than when pregnant as youdon't have the placenta to help you filter it out. Drinking alcohol while pregnant isn't a good idea, but in moderation (one or two) is nto as harmful as drinking one or two when nursing. 100% of the alcohol you drink while nursing, goes right to baby.
