I havent smoked in about 10-11 weeks now and i have this strange feeling in my hands when i touch things like i cant feel them properly (numbish/pins & needles). I believe it hasent gone since i very first started smoking which was 1½ years ago but im not sure. Any ideas, what this could be? Rating: 5

Actually ive been havin the same problems/feelings with my hands, and im pretty positive its related to pot, it happens to some people who smoke cigs alot too, but i guess smoking increases the amount of carbon monoxide in ur body which restricts bloodflow to your limbs esp. hands so that may be the reason for the tinglin or numbing....mine get cold too, yours?

i dnt think ive had the cold problem before. But i tend to grab things harder when i get the numbish feeling. You had any look on what it could be?

i dont know what causes it but im telling you, the best way to stop it is to strech and if you know how to, get someone to pop you back. you just lie on the ground, take a deep breath, have someone push the heel of their palm on part of your back and then you exhale.

i think i read that it was something to do with blood circulation to the hands and that you shouldent smoke cannabis. But that could be total bs.

Inhaling Marijuana smoke inhibits your bodies ability to deliver oxygen to your whole body, just like cigarettes or any other smoke. Lack of Oxygen probably could be the cause of your problem if you were really a heavy smoker.

Does it happen just out of the blue or does it happen after you do some activity that increases your heart rate?(most activities will speed your heart up)

He could have a bunch of kinks in his back. Before my dad went to the chiropracter his hands always went numb because the problems in his back were restricting whatever it is he needed to feel loose and stuff. Go to a massage therapist or something!
