the majority of people in prison are nonviolent drug users like us. also, non violent drug offenders are often billed with longer prison terms than murders and rapists.
cannabis is a controlled substance in the USA, a Class A drug. other class a drugs include herion and LSD.

dude i live in California, we have more rules and regs. than any other state in the union. all that stuff is illegal in other civilized country too, they just may not enforce it that much. it may sound silly to you but things like jaywalking and DIP should be illegal because they get people hurt. dont blame America for looking out for its citizens safety.

the Dept. of Homeland Security was formed after OK and 9-11. since its formation, there has not been ONE terrorist attack on American soil, despite the many attacks that were planned but have since been foiled. if you want to use 9/11 as an example for America not looking out for the country, than i guess every country on the planet is no better since theyve all been hit (UK, Spain, etc.)

Ok. You say this but you don't seem to have a high view of Canada...You point out flaws but every country has flaw. Canada has many ups to it. Free health care is a big plus. Our taxes are not to bad, some places are worse then others (Newfoundland for example) But I still feel that Canada is not a bad place to live. I perfer it over U.S.A anyday. I will say I hate U.S.A but it isn't the country itself I hate, or many of the people in it. What I hate about U.S.A is the government. The idea of how war was the best solution. the CIA created al-qeuda in 1987 and funded them with enormous amounts of money. Homeland Security was formed as an illusion to "make people feel safer" these are all facts that go back 25 years...and you have to understand, nobody would be dumb enough to fuck with america, since we have the most resources and money. all attacks are done from within.

possession of 30g or less is a Class A Misdemeanor, but cannabis is a Class C drug.
