wtf is your point?? haha. we have a high prison population because...you guessed it...theres a lot of people who commit crimes. its not that crime is lower in other countries, its that we have a superior law enforcement system that can consistantly catch criminals. its not Americas fault that Joe Somebody decided to rob a bank and rape his sister. he put himself in prison, the USA didnt. everyone has free will.

the majority of people in prison are nonviolent drug users like us. also, non violent drug offenders are often billed with longer prison terms than murders and rapists.
cannabis is a controlled substance in the USA, a Class A drug. other class a drugs include herion and LSD.
the USA has a high rate of crime compared to other countries. these are facts.
do some research before choosing a side to defend.

dude i live in California, we have more rules and regs. than any other state in the union. all that stuff is illegal in other civilized country too, they just may not enforce it that much. it may sound silly to you but things like jaywalking and DIP should be illegal because they get people hurt. dont blame America for looking out for its citizens safety.
