Now, I will say this. Someone who has to kill their family and/or friends in order to get up the "courage" to kill themselves is pretty cowardly. People have emotional attachment to eachother. Therefore we care about human deaths. Humans aren't alone in being creatures that feel pain when their type dies. Do you think that dogs and cats would be apathetic towards a friend of theres being killed? I as a human being naturally feel sorrow when I hear of other humans dying.

And yes we are ignorant of the after-life, as are you. That is a good damned reason to not go searching for the after-life in my eyes. I doubt there is a life after this life and I am ignorant of what will come after death. This is a good enough reason for me to not wanna toy with death, and to advise others against suicide.
