Peyote is indeed very slow growing. A peyote button big enough to trip off of is at least about 20 years old. And people have been gobbling them down for the past smany years that even the Native American Church is having a hard time finding enough. Sanpedro is good but the perouvian torch is better (higher concentration of mescaline) near the potency as peyote unlike san pedro which has only about 1/3 the amount. You can get a 12 inch cutting of P.T. from the Basement Shaman its a little pricey though. Also beware of people selling mecaline pills most of the time its not mescaline. One sign that it maynot be mescaline is the size of the pill/powder. If its real small it may not be mescaline or at least not enough to give you a good trip. The size of one hit of mescaline is a little bigger than most people think. I still take it when I get a chance though. The best trip of all!
