I was reading someone's description of their plant and realized mine had the same characteristic. Two petioles (leafstems) from each side of a node. For example one coming out perpendicular to the stem and a second growing at a 45 degree angle (making 4 petioles per node).

Later in the thread someone named this as a polyploid and that they have much higher yeilds. He recomended the person clone it.

I am planning on switching to 12/12 in about a week, should I top and clone before I switch to 12/12 so I have a mother plant (assuming it is a polyploid)?

Also if you suggest I do clone, can someone give me detailed instructions on how to top and clone as I have not attempted this before.

Thanks,
