what other way could there possibly be??? Just put the drill bit in a drill, and slowly drill the hole in the bottle. It might take a couple tries to get it right so use a test bottle first

Your going to need a bit that grinds the glass, normal bits will cause the glass to crack and shatter.
A multi-purpose bit should work, there like 5$ at the hardware store.
Also, alot of tape, and a cold drip on where your drilling. it helps a bit

I am not sure how good it works on fragile glass but I know that I used to use and electric engraver and set it on the lightest setting. just keep vibrating it over a small area. It will make a whole. I would practice first on some thing that you do not care about.

this is a hard one um well drilling through glass is hard only way I can think of is a good sharp drill put that glass in a tightner and drill through it might work but you have to be carful to drill in the middle so it doesn't break
