Ok so you dont like paying for music? Perhaps you use limewire and dont like having adware installed on your system? Well I have the answer!

It's called bittorrents.... much better than that P2P crap. Heres what you do:

go to this webpage.... http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php



download and install that program. it will require a restart.

This program, Azureus, is basically a program which allows you to download a file that another person is "seeding" -- allowing others to dowload a file from his computer.

Now, after installing it, forget about it for now. Visit this website, and search for what you want to download. http://thepiratebay.org/

if you cant find it there, try http://torrentspy.com/

when u find what you are looking for, check the number under the seeders (see the picture below)... if there are significantly more leechers than seeders(again, see below pic), do not download!!! it will go very slow and probably not finish!!! I'm talking about something like 2 seeders and 200 leechers, something like 30 seeders and 150 leechers should me fine, although not perfect.

when u find a "torrent", as thier called, that you want, click "DOWNLOAD THIS TORRENT".... and make it open that file WITH the Azureus.exe file.... make sure you do this, not save to disk!

When you do this, it should automaticaly open the Azureus program.... showing you that the file is downloading. It starts off slow, but gets alot faster as you begin uploading more info to others.

If you're going to use bittorrent, and i suggest everyone should, since it kicks ass. Download bittorrent from it's official site (if my mind serves me correct it's www.bittorrent.com and if it isn't, type in bittorrent in google and it's the first result) and then download BitComet. While Azureus is pretty good, Bitcomet features more preferences and is generally the easiest to use. Then, go to sites like www.isohunt.com , www.mininova.org , and www.torrentreactor.net and type in what you want to download. Find the one you want, press open, and start downloading the file! Bittorrent is the ost reliable, doesn't add adware, and kicks major ass, all the shit you get off of there is gerneally very high quality.

yea bittorent is awsome except theres a reason why its generally unheard or unused by the majority. beacuse the majority of people have problems with portfowarding and firewalls (e.g. NAT). lets be frank most people would have no clue how to get it working and therefore should stick to limewire or Ares etc. its just not worth the bother getting it up and running cos it may never happen, i had to get a new interned providor beofore i could get mine working cos they blocked everyport that we were using it with. This is just another problem of many. but if anyone seems interested ur best bet to get it working (Note: it will work but very slowly if u are behind are firewall) is going to www.portforward.com this site gives instructions on nearly every router how to get ur computer firewalled. Start with the static ip section first then move to routing ur router. peace
