Never heard about smoking parsley but I was recently introduced to Hops, the closest plant to Marijuana in that plant family, it's closer then catnip. It's nothing special but it will relax you, maybe make you a little goofy.

if catnip is related to salvia as they are both in the sage family. I smoke catnip once. I rolled it up into a giant doob with some tobacoo, it sort of felt like mild salvia, but it might have been the tobacco, as i am not a regular smoker and inhaling that smoke deaply into my lungs usually buzzes me
