The story behind this was as follows. Bought an oz of mediocre shwag. Mexican bullshit. Smoked out a friend, but had this one bowl of just pure coughing and puking. So I dumped that bowl onto the table and reloaded the hookah. The other night I was dry, so I got all my resinballs and loaded up the hookah and I went out and got that coughing bowl which had been sitting for 3 weeks in the heat and cold of winter. So I loaded up my hookah with these resin balls and coughing weed. smoked that shit and started having visual hallucinations It was fuckin crazy man.

smokin' balls of oil from your pipe? that's dizgusting. i remember doing that a long time ago when i was younger and toked a lot of that cheap crap weed. it might be cheap, but it doesn't take long to be all out - it hardly gets you high! a few humungo bowls in the bong every 30 min. will keep you munchin (w/ a frown on your face after every hit from that brick brown.), but won't keep you even close to blazzzed. syruss you need to smoke real resin, the blonde kind that collects on the mirror of the kif box from breakin up super-dizznank nuggets. press that collected resin (some people call it kif, but trichomes or resin glands is more appropriate) into your palm w/ your other thizumb n roll into a dark sticky ball of hash. slice w/ a razor blade into tiny pieces and medicate accordingly. didn't you say you were from college station in another thread man, or wuz thiz somebody else i'm thinking of? :rasta:

you have some goodass hydro for cheap as fuck? i never know officially if what i ever get is hydroponic or soil grown (growing hydroponically or in soil has nothing to do w/aesthetic value, or potency - it's the use of good genetics and proper feeding, temperature, and lighting that affects this). I go by how it tastes, smells, and burns. i can usually tell if it's dro by if it burns unevenly and pops when burnt and tastes unflushed - This is what the Canabible 2 says by Jason King. some people mistakenly call all kInD: dro. what does your "dro" burn like and taste like? does it pop when burnt? does it taste the same as it smells? if so it just might be some dank organic - the realest of dank, and not dro. the only advantage of dro over organics goes to the grower - who gets higher yields and faster harvest times. truth is, we will never know surely how our herb was grown (hydroponically or hopefully in soil w/ some Advanced Nutrients ) unless we grow it ourselves or know a kind buddy who does. anywayz i'm yackin and yackin. how cheap r these budz syruss. i'm going to maybe have to get your IM s/n. rarely hang out w/ people though. i stay on the low low. :rasta:

nah, yeah man I hear ya. Ive got 2 sources for dro. One I get mediocre dro (big bud strain I remember correctly) for shwag prices. (30-45 an oz) The other I get bc bud and various other flavors for 15, 20, and 25 a gram (different strains). They all taste, smell, and burn alike, crackles and pops on burn, and they're all extreamly well manicured. ( The first for schwag prices is a hydroponics cabinet system, from a guy locally)

Hydroponics and aeroponics don't just yeild quickly, they also allow for the the plant to reach it's maximum genetic propencity in the least amout of time. Now the truth is, it depends on genetics more than anything, growing hemp hydroponically vs growing like northern lights or white widow in shitty ass soil the white widow is going to be of higher quality than the fucking hemp, thats a given. So growing a good strain in the optimal environment that aeroponics or hydroponics provides is always ++ good.

I wasn't trying to sound all-knowledgable or anything in that last post lol I was just rantin a little because I'm a soil fan. i like talkin about cultivation - it interests me.

When a plant reaches its maximum potential, genetically speaking, in a short amount of time, it could be called a quick yield in this case (I would actually call it a quick harvest - yield typically refers to amount). That quote just sounded like a double standard to me. lol

Growing Hydroponically or w/ aeroponics (the latter used more for readying clones than actually veging and flowering) has no advantage of making more potent and better tasting medicine was my main point. Nugs grown in soil w/ proper ammendments (not shit soil - lol) shouldn't be frowned upon. It's been proven in many cannabis cultivation publications that soil grown herb is much more flavorful - just as potent, and provides an all around better burning experience. Hydro is well known for becoming "cashed" in a bowl after the 1st one or two hitz even though there is still bud left in the bowl. Soil-grown herb burns smooth to the end, tastes the dank, and gets you just as high - if not higher, than herb grown hydroponically or aeroponically.

Hydroponics is for money hungry growers who want a quick harvest (you called it yield, earlier on) and a large yield of buds at harvest time - and aren't worried about all-around quality - but more so the looks or "bag appeal" of their buds. Additionally, people who would rather mix a few bottles of nutrients and check their water temps and pH regularly rather than work to make a nice silky soil mix w/ numerous organic ammendments like guano, worm castings, etc... would rather grow hydroponically. It all comes down to laziness and economics. If you're a real go getter and have time to buy all your soil and add-ins, and time to water, and time to wait for veg, grow, and bloom stages to complete and aren't worried about how quickly harvest time comes and a big hydro yield (to make big $) - you will get a better all-around connoseur grade cannabis. Less of a yield, better quality. Did you ever watch pot-tv before Mark Emery got popped? Marijuana Man and Mark always spoke of how hydro nugs look very nice - but just don't get you blazed like properly fed soil grown dank. :thumbsup:

I would take some of DJ Short's Blueberry from the Delta 9 Collection grown in soil w/ proper feeding over even the best well-flushed hydrooponic version anyday. Just speakin' my mind in here. That's what this forum is for, right?
