Next year i'm planning to fly to new zealand, buy a second hand motorbike, and travel around the country for a while....do you think this is a good plan? has anyone else done anything like this, coz i really don't know what to expect... relying on a second hand motorcycle to get you across a foreign country probably isnt the best idea. it works in the movies but what happens when something goes wrong out in bumfuck nowhere? id just rent a car. less hassle so you can spend more energy taking in the country.
