First try growing. New to it need some suggestions or help
ok I've just got about 25 seeds from a friend of mine. Not sure what kind and they come in a darker brown color but some are lighter. My questions are now though: What seeds are good ones the darker ones or lighter? I have so far to grow with plastic containers , a few pots , seeds, scott's starter soil, Regular water, rockwool cubes that form pots after you add water to it, and a plant light thats small that I got from hardware store. Can these few things make a plant grow? I'm using the paper towel method. I placed about 4 seeds in a small plastic container damped the towels with warm water and sealed them up , then put them under some clothes in my dresser droor for darkness. Now I know when the tap root comes up , place it down in the soil but is the paper towel method that I do , will work? The seeds I've tryed germinating already took from 24 hr's to 4-5 days is that normal? Also how much light should I use when they first sprout? How much water should I give it then ? A tablespoon a day? Any help or suggestions or even really good grow sites would be great. Thanks again and sorry for making you read all this.

DON'T SEAL THE CONTAINER. THEY'LL SUFFICATE. AND DON'T DROWN THEM. JUST KEEP EM MOIST, AND LET SOME AIR IN ONCE IN A WHILE. GOOD LUCK

okay, lets see, germination can take 1 day to 2 weeks so that is normal

the seeds that are light brown with darker stripes on them are good. my method of germination is a cofee mug with warm water and a ceramic plate on top with clothes wrapped around it, you should need no light untill they sprout, and you dont need to water much because too much water will make the seed/sprout rot. the light you have might grow two plants but probly no more than that, and you need to use spring water not tap
