I want to order some beans, but im not sure where to have them sent. Everyone says not to send it to where the growroom is. Okay so then i thought maybe a friend, but what do i tell them and i don't want them to get in trouble. Can anyone give me some help? If this is to invasive feel free to lock/delete the thread...

get them sent to your house, addressed to current resident or just a fake name
even if customs does get them, the worst that will happen is they will send you a letter telling you that *someone* tried to have contraband sent to your house
just because seeds were coming to your place doesn't mean they were coming at your request, so they would have no legit grounds to get a warrant and come after you based on catching a seed shipment  it happens all the time, and unless your ordering a very large amount of seeds it won't even raise an eyebrow
if your SUPER paranoid you can get a PO box and have em sent there, but i would send em to the house, i have got a few seed shipments with no problems, i have known lots of people who had them sent to thier house no problem, and i have known a few people who had thier beans snagged by customs with no problems (other than lost beans)
also check on the seedbanks policy on info before you order, i know that drchronic destroys all records of you / the transaction on his end the minute he ships out your order [align=center]\"You are in a constant state of learning, and life itself is your teacher.\" -Bruce Lee

yes it is, and that is good advice
but it is also said to let NOBODY know that you are growing, and getting the beans sent somewhere else usually involves informing someone else that you are growing, unless you have an empty house or a PO box or somethin
it's just about personal preference, either option could be a potential security risk, but if you have all your ducks in a row then neither should be a problem
getting them sent right to you is the better option, IN MY OPINION
just coz you can't get busted based on a small pack of seeds coming to your house... they need something else to go on, and with the amount of seeds coming over, even trying to investigate it is a waste of thier time - they can't, since they can't get a warrrant based on the seeds alone, even attempting to send someone snooping after you would be a incredible waste of manpower and $$ to come up empty handed... trust, they have better things to do.

Wherever you order your seeds from it needs to be www.seedsdirect.to They are very secure. You get your seeds inside of an original breeder pack which is inside of an empty CD case. They don't write seeds on the package either so you don't have to worry about security risks. They are affordable and reliable. They sell all of the worlds best breeders brands. And you also get a free pack with every order.

The reason they say not to send to the place you intend to grow is because if the mail is picked up by customs your name and address gets put onto a watch list, And also with the advent of the patriot act no warrant is necessary, just suspicion is enough, they have already said drugs fund terrorism so thats all they need. Incidentally this same type of patriot rules now in effect were used by the soviets and the nazi's.

thats why you dont have your name on it
they can say mj funds terrorism all they want, that doesn't make it so
sure, with the pat. act, they CAN come after you, but that doesn't change the fact that it is still a waste of manpower and $$ on thier part, and if you are a clean, upstanding citizen outside of the mj thing, then they are gonna have a hell of a time trying to prove that your a terrorist / justifying thier actions in court, ESP if you dont have any equipment related to dealing (scales)... just because your name can be put on a list doesn't mean that anything will ever come of it, there has to be some red flags to make them actually take action, seeds get confiscated every day, how often does it actually lead to a bust? almost never, unless you have a serious criminal record, you happen to be a muslim, or they actually have a case against you as a terrorist, you're going to be ignored.
it really doesn't matter, what it all boils down to is that you are taking a risk when you order seeds, no matter where they are shipped to, but the chances of customs catching them is remote, and they are gonna still have to have a little more to go on than a couple seeds if they wanna prove your a terrorist :P lol
