Herbal alternatives really legal in US?

We've all seen the pop-ups for the legal (alternative) bud. Two questions
1 - is it truly legal in the US?
2 - is it any good?

yes, tehy're legal, no, they dont get you high. apparently they just give yo ua headache.

yes they are legal

they are infused with extracts from other herbs, like kava

they can have a very mild relaxing effect, but if your looking for something to replace mj then dont bother, you wont get high, and if you smoke a whole lot to try and get high you will just get sick

not legal for minors, but i'd imagine its a slap on the wrist like gettin caught with cigs. but if you are doing it in a car, i think a cop COULD search you so keep that in mind.

they're just not worth it. I did business with one of the companies that is "ahem" advertised on this site. Service was awful (I had to wait literally months when they said it would take weeks and a few items were missing from my order), they were unable to be contacted, and some of them really do give you a very powerful headache,
