IMO you should just walk up to him look him right in the eys and start pounding him face in and throw in a couple of headbutts, if you end up getting chinned, grab his face with your hand and put it through a window or bottle the bastard and to finish the the prick off make him bite the curb oand stomp on the little fuckers head like in amrican history x.
I hope it all goes well mate

it may be easy to grab a head, the rest of it depends on whether or not he is actually fighting back / how strong he is/ whether he knows how to throw a punch (most people dont) lol

and just for the record, twisting the arm away from the body will open the centerline, leaving the opponent an opportunity to counter strike with the opposite hand, no matter how much pain one arm is in, the other one still functions just fine... not that it matters, you could sit here and debate possible outcomes for the rest of your life ... to reference poly again, hes exactly right you won't learn jack about fighting by reading here :P on top of that, you can theorize a million different scenarios but how you think it should happen and what actually happens are 2 different things

sorry bro, just tryin to give ya the truth

if your near a college look for a intramural club or something to get ya started, once you have studied in a group for a while, and got the basics and a good handful of forms down solid, you can progress (in kung fu anyway) by learning new forms from video... but having a partner is always best, and for some forms downright neccesary

kung fu and tai chi are great, but thats just my opinion, and im a bit biased

i want to take up muy thai, i just don't have the time

im a very predictable fighter this is what i do every time i get into it. spear him to the ground put your knees on his shoulders and got to town on his face throw in a headbutt or 2 stand up and do the stomp on his face and ribs and if you want too get on top again and repeat.

the truth, its difficult to find QUALITY instruction anywhere, esp. for free

if theres nothin near ya, id suggest some of the mentor's (bruce lee ) books

'Chinese Gung Fu: The Philosophical Art of Self-Defense'

is a must, its a short read, with good illustrations , diagrams, etc, covers most of the bare basics of kung fu

also 'The Tao of Gung Fu' and of course 'Jeet Kune Do' are also great resources, also you can buy alot of good video resources linked somwhere from shaolins.org .. but nothing comes close to real hands on instruction :twocents:
