If it was true then would this mean that we make the same friends as we did in other life times? Will I meet all my friends, unknowningly, in my next life? and for all my other lives?

I personally thought of this many times. That we are giving chances to be accepted into God's heaven. He sets us to earth and waits for us to become the best we can, either in this life or the next. By this eatch is Limbo. We are trapped until we are ready. I have long since changed my ideas of God, and I find that I have little faith in much of anything.

I believe, personally that our soul extends into every generation into every space of time that human existed. That we were once people of every period of history.
