20x salvia didnt work

my friend got a half g of 20x salvia extract yesterday so today he wanted to hit it and called me to sit. so i get there, and we sit down, and he puts a generous pinch into the screen and puts it in the bowl of his glass piece. then he puts the flame right on the salvia and hits it good for a good 15 seconds then holds it for like 30 secs. after about 30 secs after he blew it out he just looked at me and goes, "it didnt work". after that, he was kinda giggly, sorta like a light weed buz, but then it just kinda wore off. didnt hallucinate or anything. what went wrong?

Didn't smoke enough. Try 2-4 hits like that if one only got you giggly. Also, was it a butane torch?

dude. today i did 2 hits of salvia 20X and let me tell you i was fucking tripping out man. i used a normal bic and used a bong and held the lighter to it the whole time. everything was rushing about me and left was down and it was just fuckin incredible.

Might not have been 20x, if you bought it from a "guy" then it might have been like 5x or something. However I know a guy that hit alot of 15x and just got tingles, depends on your body chemistry.

^ hm interesting. yea im almost positive its actualy 20x. were gona give it another go tomorrow or sunday.

well it seems as if you may be using the wrong equipment. Are you using a butane lighter? Normal lighters will work, but not as effectively as butane. You need it really hot to separate the salvinorn-A.

Regular lighters work fine, you just need to hold the flame to it as you draw. I ALWAYS use a regular light and always get a good effect.

And fmk, maybe you just need to smoke more. If you got crude extracts, I find that sometimes I come across blanks... that don't get me off. So have another bowl ready in case you get a blank. If it's not that then maybe you just need to smoke more over a period of time and eventually lower your tolerance. Practice on your smoking technigue and hold in the hits for at least 25 seconds. Everyone breaks through eventually, but some have to keep trying. Sucks to be them.

Regular lighters don't work as well as a torch lighter b/c it doesn't get hot enough to combust the chemical salvinorum a.
Just trust me on this one.
I usually take two good solid hits- and its enough to send me into Salvia World for a good ten minutes.
