Well the idea is that the green light will actually cancel out any light that may seep into the grow area.. but it's a myth..

I heard from expert than it can be done! Zandor spoke of it quite a few times and i was wondering if that bulb would do the trick. hehe :P

the way ya worded this was a little confusing(for me anyway). The way i read it was that you plan on keeping this green bulb on all the time...i musta been stoned. :stoned:

The "myth" i was talking about was the idea i've heard often, that a green light will "kill" any light coming into the box.

"A green light can be used to work on the garden during the dark period with no negative reactions from the plants. These are sold as nursery safety lights, but any green bulb should be OK. It is best to keep the dark hours a time when you would normally not wish to visit the garden."

Yes, it is true. but red light is only safe for black and white photo devepoping not color photo.
